What We Teach
An Asana is any comfortable steady posture ie. “Sthiram Sukham Asanam” which is the definition given in the Yoga Sutras. Some of these basic asanas are excellent for enhancing health and flexibility : Standing Forward Fold (Uttanasana), Warrior I (Virabhadrasana I), Cat-Cow Pose (Marjaryasana), Cobra Pose (Bhujangasana), Bow Pose (Dhanurasana), Dancer Pose (Natarajasana), Bridge Pose (Setu Bandhasana), Butterfly Pose (Baddha Konasana)
Pranayama is a very subtle energizing technique through certain focussed breathing patterns. Prana means life force or the vital force and Ayama means channelizing or control. Very difficult to explain the practice one has to experience under proper guidance.
